ToxicStyle is from now on officially on HIATUS. I'm just too fucking busy with uni right now. I thought I could handle one more class, have a social life and relaunch the blog, but it's a little too hectic at the moment. I will be working with my friend Dazzle (the co-owner of WorldMix with me), on a brand new website soon, which will probably launch this summer. In the meantime, check the amazing blog OxygenChunks, where I will keep you up to date with a couple of fellow bloggers.

Jermaine Dupri, in his interview with MTV News, said he's considering a collaboration between Mariah and Janet, which would mirror Whitney Houston and Mariah's 1998 hit "When You Believe."

"That's been on my mind for a couple weeks now," Dupri admitted. WorldMix - What's Going On?

Well, since many people are still wondering what's going on with WorldMix, here's a quick recap and update. The site got deleted because of legal reasons. Now that Soundfiends also got shut down by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), the only sharing forum up and running is Muzicmatters which has most of the new pop and R&B singles. This all sounds a bit scary to me, but however, I am willing to give WorldMix another go. The only problem we have - and it's kindof a big one - is that we don't have any webspace to host the forums on. We were hosted on a free forum (proboards), but they shut us down the first time because of legal reasons as well.

In conclusion: if anyone is willing to host WorldMix, please contact us. If not, the story is over for now and we'll continue on this blog (which might open a non-sharing forum soon...)

Sugababes to USA - Part II

Well, the Sugabiches are gonna give it another go in the US. This is what I found on Wikipedia (make sure, rumor alert!)

The Sugababes will also make another attempt to crack the American music scene with "Taller in More Ways". While in the States recording their fourth studio album with famed producer, Dallas Austin, the Sugababes recorded additional tracks set to be included on the US release.

Five new tracks have been recorded with Amelle are "Head Check", "Divider", "Sticks & Stones (B.A.D remix)" , "Lust For Dancefloors" and a new version of "Red Dress".

It'd be interesting to see if it's gonna work this time. Maybe that's why Amelle sounded a bit weird... is she trying to sound American just to crack the States? And is this the main reason why Mutya left? Oh whatever, I knew it all along!
